Surface Logix is a drug development company that creates new therapeutics by significantly improving the pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) properties of approved drugs and late stage compounds. The company uses its proprietary small molecule Pharmacomer™ Technology to chemically modify drugs and late stage compounds to create New Chemical Entities (NCEs) with improved bioavailability and tissue distribution profiles. Surface Logix also combines its Pharmacomer™ Technology with nanotechnology capabilities to create miniaturized assays to test the interaction of biological molecules with potential drug candidates. These assays serve as ex-vivo models to evaluate and fine-tune the oral bioavailability, membrane permeability, metabolism, and distribution characteristics of NCEs. Surface Logix has several drugs in clinical and preclinical development. For more information on our programs please visit our website at www.surfacelogix.com
