SURFACE LOGIX INC. TO PRESENT AT THE PACIFIC GROWTH EQUITIES 2006 LIFE SCIENCES GROWTH CONFERENCE
BOSTON, Mass. (June 12, 2006) – Surface Logix Inc., a drug
development company using biophysical chemistry to
create new small molecule drugs for metabolic,
vascular and inflammatory diseases, will present at
the Pacific Growth Equities 2006 Life Sciences
Growth Conference. The presentation will be given by
Jim Mahoney, Surface Logix’ President and Chief
Executive Officer, on June 14, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. ET
from the InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel in San
Francisco.
In
his presentation, Mr. Mahoney will provide an update on
the development pipeline including interim results from
two clinical compounds; SLx-2101, a second generation
PDE5 inhibitor in Phase 1Ia for cardiovascular disease,
and Phase 1 results for SLx-4090, a first in class MTP
inhibitor targeting metabolic disorders including
hypertriglyceridemia. He will also give an overview of
the preclinical data from the Rho Kinase (ROCK) program.
This program is focused on developing ROCK2 selective
compounds for inflammatory and fibrotic disease and a
regulatory submission is planned for the end of 2006.
