SURFACE LOGIX INC. TO PRESENT AT THE RBC CAPITAL MARKETS HEALTHCARE CONFERENCE
BOSTON, Mass. (December 11, 2006) – Surface Logix Inc.
announced that Jim Mahoney, President and Chief
Executive Officer, will participate on two panel
discussions at the RBC Capital Markets Healthcare
Conference this week at the Westin Times Square
Hotel in New York.
During the “New Targets for Lipid Control” panel on Wednesday
December 13, 2006, from 9:00 to 9:55 AM, Mr. Mahoney
will provide insight into the clinical development of
SLx-4090, a first-in-class enterocyte-specific MTP
inhibitor that acts selectively in the gastrointestinal
tract to target unmet needs in dyslipidemia, metabolic
disorders and obesity that is entering a Phase 2a trial.
On Thursday December 14 from 9:00 to 9:55 AM, Mr. Mahoney
will participate on the “Better Chemistry = Better
Drugs” panel with details on how the Surface Logix
Pharmacomer Technology Platform has driven the directed
design and successful introduction of two new drugs into
clinical trials in less than 3 years.
